Workbook Lessons From A Course In Miracles

And so we enter this new idea of space and time. A sequence of time in a new framework of space in which we learn to remember who we are, in truth.

I know I’ve mentioned this before but I just wanted to share with you what ocurred with me when I had my moment, then returned with the question of “how the hell do I get out of this?” I can’t begin to express the sense of relief I felt once I read this, from the Course.

“Some of the ideas you will find hard to believe, and others will seem quite startling. It does not matter. You are merely asked to apply them to what you see. You are not asked to judge them, or even to believe them. You are asked only to use them. It is their use which will give them meaning to you, and show you they are true.
Remember only this; you need not believe them, you need not accept them and you need not welcome them. Some of them you may actively resist. None of this will matter, nor decrease their efficacy. But allow yourself to make no exceptions in applying the ideas the exercises contain. What ever your reactions to the ideas may be, use them. Nothing more than this is required.” acim wookbook intro

I knew I still had work to do but I had the book and I had instructions, if nothing else, I knew all I had to do was just follow the instructions. Boy, was I relieved. It didn’t stop me from going through all I thought I still had to go through but no matter how much I fucked up I could always come back to “just do the lesson”.

The workbook is spectacular.Period! And if you really think an athiestic, Jewish phycologist could have written something like the workbook of A Course In Miracles than your nuts. The cool thing is that Jesus has already factored in YOUR dis-belief “you need not believe them”.HA! See that? You can’t squirm your way out of it. This IS a required Course. Now it’s just a matter of time. How long will you allow the suffering of your world to continue?
